Combining elegance, functionality, and craftsmanship for the ultimate cooking space.

Style Guide by Mother Hubbards, Leeds

Cabinetry and Paint Selections

This kitchen balances classic and contemporary elements with the Barlow MDF door style on all cabinetry, ensuring a clean and versatile aesthetic. The walls are painted in Farrow & Ball’s “Lime White”, offering a soft and neutral backdrop, while the cabinet doors are finished in the warm, nature-inspired tone of Farrow & Ball’s “Cooking Apple Green.” Together, these colours create a tranquil and inviting atmosphere.

Hardware and Fixtures

Elegant accents define this kitchen. The cabinetry is completed with “Monmouth” doorknobs and cup handles in brushed satin brass by Crofts & Assinder, a perfect pairing with the brushed brass tones of the Abode “Atlas Quad” tap. The warm metallic finishes unify the design, adding understated luxury.

Integrated Appliances

Modern functionality meets seamless design with carefully integrated appliances. This kitchen features:

  • Stoves 90cm range cooker, ideal for culinary versatility.
  • Samsung free-standing fridge-freezer and washer, both discreetly concealed behind cabinetry doors to maintain the flow and aesthetic of the space.

Interior Carcass Style

Inside the cabinetry, Egger’s “Natural Lancaster Oak” is used for its durability and refined texture. This carcass finish provides a high-quality, neutral foundation that pairs beautifully with the external colours and finishes.

Storage Features

Clever storage solutions are a highlight of this kitchen. The design incorporates:

  • 300mm base pull-out to the left of the range cooker for easy access to spices and condiments.
  • 150mm larder pull-out at the end of the run for taller pantry essentials.
  • The Hafele “Cornerstone Maxx” blind corner pull-out, located in the peninsula, which maximises typically underutilised corner storage space.

Sink and Worktop Layout

The sink area features a highly practical arrangement. To the right-hand side of the sink, the washer is discreetly concealed behind cabinetry, while a storage cabinet sits to the left-hand side. While this kitchen does not include an island, the peninsula worktop near the range cooker provides a spacious preparation area, ideal for home cooking and meal prep.
